The project for the creation of a plastic waste recycling plant in Niamey is part of the Niger government environmental policy to eliminate plastic waste nationwide. The project objective is to transition from plastic bags that are the most commonly used in the country to brown paper bags, that better comply with the environmental and ecological demands required by national and international policies for environmental protection.
