In Niger, reserves are estimated to be close to 4 billion barrels of oil and 23,175 billion m3 of natural gas. Today, the exportable quantity of crude oil in Niger is approximately 90,000 barrels/day. To extend oil research and increase the quantity of exportable crude oil, Niger plans to open an oil export channel enabling direct access to the international market.
- Grant a maximum number of exclusive oil exploration permits to oil companies;
- Attract new oil companies;
- Discover new oil fields;
- Increase oil production capacity to meet the demands of national and international markets;
