The project is part of the Niger government’s policy to increase the country’s energy capacity in order to achieve energy autonomy. The project objective is to contribute to the evacuation of the power produced at the 60 MW SORAZ plant and the SALKADAMNA 200 MW plant by installing a 132 KV Malbaza - Keita – Tahoua transmission line, ensuring the reinforcement of the Nigerien power grid to respond efficiently to electric power demands.
